SWIM ROUTE (10 and 15 km)

Longer swim routes of 10 and 15 km might be added to the King Wolf Swim event series in later years. This will include a 2-way crossing from Kingston to Wolfe Island and back across the St. Lawrence River in Ontario, Canada. Route details are posted below.

10 KM SWIM: 2-WAY CROSSING

This swim will start at the PUC Dock in Kingston (same as the July event). Swimmers will then swim across the St. Lawrence River to Wolfe Island, landing just east of Simcoe Island. They will touch Wolfe Island and can take a short break (up to 5 minutes) to feed before returning to the water and swimming back to the PUC Dock.

As with the July event, all swimmers will be required to have kayak accomopaniment. There will also be a lead kayaker and motor boat supporting the event.

15 KM SWIM: 2-WAY CROSSING WITH SWIM AROUND GARDEN ISLAND

If there is demand, the August event will also include a 15 km swim. This swim will proceed very similiarly to the 10 km swim (described above) but after reaching Wolfe Island, swimmers will circle Garden Island before returning to the PUC Dock.

As with the July event, all swimmers will be required to have kayak accomopaniment. There will also be a lead kayaker and motor boat supporting the event.
