KING WOLF SWIM

5KM REGISTRATION FEES

$80    early bird entry     (until December 31 2017)

$95    mid season entry  (January 1 to May 31 2018)

$110  late season entry  (June 1 to July 6 2018)

Registration fees include tickets for the brunch buffet for both the swimmer and kayaker escort.

​

Returning swimmers are eligible to receive a $10 discount code by contacting the Race Director prior to submitting registration and payment.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

 

Minimum training distance:

This event is for experienced swimmers who have the training and confidence to swim in open water unassisted, including possible winds, rough waves, or rain showers. Swimmers registering for the 5km King Wolf swim distance must have completed a minimum training distance of 3km prior to race day - no proof is required, we trust you.

Kayaker escort:

The swim takes place on a busy waterway, so for reasons of safety each swimmer must have a kayaker with them at all times. No sharing of a single kayaker amongst multiple swimmers is permitted. We strongly recommend you bring your own kayaker, but if needed the committee will make every effort to find one for you.

Cutoff time:

There is a mandatory 3 hour cut-off time for the 5km King Wolf swim distance. Swimmers that are not in sight of the finish line by the cut-off time will be pulled from the water and taken to the race finish by motor boat.
